Beyond the Dollar offers the ultimate way to dollar-proof your portfolio and internationalize your lifestyle. It is our mission to deliver you the best information in the clearest way possible.

We’ve put together this section of frequently asked questions to shed some light on what we’re all about.

What is Beyond the Dollar? Who publishes it?

Founded in 2015, the Beyond the Dollar is a monthly newsletter published by Beyond the Dollar LLC.

The U.S. dollar is crushing currencies all across the world: the yen, the euro, and the Canadian dollar, among others. In fact, it’s been more than 10 years since we last saw the dollar this strong…

But the strength will not last forever; and it’s not a question of “if” the dollar will weaken, but rather “when.” In other words, there is no better time than the present to take advantage of non-dollar opportunities across the world.

Beyond the Dollar will help you dollar-proof your portfolio and also expose you to the benefits of making your life more international – whether that means spending more time abroad or taking advantage of profitable offshore investment opportunities.

Note that we do not provide personal investment advice, offer brokerage services or manage money.

What else does my Beyond the Dollar subscription include?

In addition to receiving each monthly issue of Beyond the Dollar, you’ll receive a subscription to The Non-Dollar Report, a thrice-weekly newsletter edited by Eric Fry.

Throughout the 1990s, Eric was a professional hedge fund manager, specializing in long/short equity strategies.  Following his success in professional money management, Eric joined the Wall Street-based publishing operations of James Grant, editor of the prestigious Grant’s Interest Rate Observer. While at Grant’s, Eric directed the team of investment analysts that produced Grant’s International and Apogee Research – institutional research products dedicated to international investment opportunities and short selling.

During Eric’s three-decade career on and around Wall Street, he gained the insights and instincts of an insider, while still clinging passionately to his “home-grown” outsider perspective.

His views and investment insights have appeared in numerous publications including TimeBarron’s, The Wall Street JournalInternational Herald TribuneBusiness Week, USA TodayLos Angeles Times and Money. He has also appeared on numerous financial news channels like CNBC, Fox News, CNN and Russian TV.

How exactly does this portfolio work?

With every monthly issue of Beyond the Dollar, Karim makes investment recommendations. The picks are tracked, and we’ll be sure to make you aware of any updates associated with those picks. Further, a 25% trailing stop is placed on every equity in the portfolio, based on the price at which it was purchased.

But there’s more…

Some of the picks in the portfolio – including real estate picks – are a bit more difficult to track compared with traditional investment picks such as stocks and bonds. There is a special section of the portfolio for these unorthodox investment picks, and you’ll always be given pertinent updates for those as well.
